Mother Nature's way of saying good morning....

I love this shot of the Sunrise this morning. I took this with my DSLR a few minutes before it became completely light out.  If you sit and watch sunsets and rises, the sky will literally change colors before your eyes.

This was cropped afterwards; but is otherwise straight out of the camera. I used exposure compensation to "outsmart" the camera and basically tell it to expose a couple of stops lighter to create the darker shadows (which in turn takes a photo more like how the human eye saw the scene).
