Random Photography Advice
Random Photography tips from me - Every pic should tell a story. You don't have to be a pro photographer (or aspiring pro) to immediately start taking better pics that people will want to see. Viewers should look at the pic and "get it" or have a clear understanding of what you may have been thinking and why you took the shot of the subject. One shouldn't have to stare at a pic like it's an abstract piece of art and wonder - "What the hell was he thinking - What is it?" (Note - I've been guilty of this..too..). Some story themes are surprisingly simple; while others are multifaceted and complex. Keep this in mind - Most pictures taken today are with camera phones! Although the sensors in new phones are constantly improving, they do have limitations compared to dedicated cameras. However, as the old photograpy saying goes - "The best camera is the one you have with you." Thus, my challenge to you is to realize that every shot matters and think about what you want to convey to others. Even for simple portraits or people shots. Ya never know if that picture is going to be something you mnay cherish forever until after its taken. Sometimes there are no double takes in life.
